AIRIA on a five day trip to Japan seeking new trade opportunities.
A business delegation consisting of 14 members of AIRIA (All India Rubber Industries Association) will be visiting Japan between 8th Feb to 12th Feb 2016 in an attempt to explore trade & investment opportunities & possibilities in the rubber sector of both the countries. Both the embassies of India & Japan will be coordinating the visit
Mohinder Gupta, the president of AIRIA along with the managing director Vinko Auto Industries Ltd. will be leading the delegation to Japan. Mohinder Gupta stated that, “Japanese rubber technology is considered the best in the world and India looks forward to have technical tie-ups, JVs and joint collaborations with the Japanese in rubber sector.”
In a visit lasting five days, the AIRIA delegation will have a thorough interaction with the Japanese Rubber Manufactures’ Association (JRMA), Japan-India Industry Promotion Agency (JIIPA), Rubber Trade Association of Japan (RTAJ), The Society of Rubber Science and Technology (SRST), Japan Automobile Tyre Manufacturers Association (JATMA), Tokyo Chamber of Commerce (TCCI) & Machinery Manufacturers Association of Japan.
India and Japan are both among the world’s leading producers of rubber & rubber products. Despite the two nations being prominent in their positions in the global rubber market, the bilateral trade on rubber & rubber products between the two countries is comparatively small.
