Mathis named CFO at Bridgestone Americas
Bridgestone has named Amanda Mathis CFO of Bridgestone Americas effective May 18, 2017, the company announced. Mathis will be responsible for overseeing strategy for finance, accounting and financial shared services, as well as mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, cash flow and debt management.
She has held the role of acting CFO with the company since September 2016. Mathis joined Bridgestone Americas as controller for the consumer tyre division in 2012. She was later promoted to vice president of finance for Bridgestone Americas Tyre Operations (BATO) North America and concurrently named acting CFO in September 2016. Prior to joining Bridgestone, Mathis held leadership roles at Long John Silver’s and A&W Restaurants. She also worked at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Capital Markets and Morgan Keegan.
