The Tyre Expo is coming to Delhi!
Come 14th June 2016, Pragati Maidan at New Delhi will be the venue for the Tyre Expo 2016, and this time it is bigger and better.
Among the companies that have booked space at the Tyre Expo include names like BKT Tyres-India’s largest OTR tyres manufacturers , LingLong Tyres-one of the leading tyre manufacturers from China ,Sarveshwari Engineering group a preferred garage solutions provider with a global footprint , Elgi Tread a company that manufactures the most comprehensive range of raw material, equipment, tools and accessories used predominantly in the tyre industry, Oriental Carbon & Chemicals Ltd. a name to reckon with in the rubber chemical space especially in the field of Insoluble Sulphur.
A lot of us may have pondered over the idea of participating in trade shows, but would have stepped back from actually going ahead since trade shows take us out of a comfort zone of sales calls that we are used to making. It has the cost of participation that is not limited to organizing the stall space and travelling to and from it, but also the time input by the people who manage that touch point.
We asked some of the business leaders about reasons why they participate, is there really a huge expectation of a lot of lead generation to take place at the Tyre expo?
As was pointed out by Mr.Goyal of Sarveshwari Engineers that lead generation is the primary idea to attend trade shows, but there is lots more to it than just this.
You learn a lot about what’s working and what’s not- since people coming to trade shows are specialists in huge numbers and in three days you end up dipping into a knowledge bank of visitors who give you a lot of insights about how you can improve and what you must focus on because you’re already doing it right.
Mr. Batta from Oriental Carbon & Chemicals Ltd. assessed the Tyre Expo and other trade shows in the light that his capability to generate lucrative leads in an environment where it takes months if not years to get samples tested and approved cannot be solely dependent on those 3 days of the Expo. It is the networking that he does during the show and more importantly after the show that gives him a chance to get successful leads.
The other responses that we got were very forthright about the fact that these platforms are great for reaching out to old and new customers and strengthening their brand image in peoples’ minds.
In fact some companies even had this fact of establishing brand image honed precisely to serve a tertiary purpose that even to attract good talent to work in their organizations it is necessary to be visible , since visibility extends to credibility.
